What was I thinking? How can I choose one event per week…..? There is just too much to do. Ok let’s get down to business, I will choose my pick….but you may want to check out all of these events below, starting with a fun one tonight.
My pick of the week has to be Bergamot this Saturday….sooo many galleries will be open. No need to drive to galleries all over LA. Just park and stroll while sipping free wine and enjoying beautiful art….ok some strange art too, but hey, everyone likes something different right? Remember to sober up before you get back in your car.
The following galleries will be having openings this Saturday Jan 15th, most of them are on - the early side from 4:00-8:00 pm. So get there early for easy parking on site.
Gallery Luisotti Bldg A-2; Craig Krull Gallery Bldg B-3; Samuel Freeman Gallery B-7; Ruth Bachofner Gallery G-2 (this last one starts early at 4:00 and ends at 6:00pm)
As always some of the other galleries will be open for viewing. So be sure to fill up your wine glass and enjoy some other exhibits as well.
See below for one more gallery in Culver City. As well as one more in the Santa Monica/Venice area that goes till 10:00 pm which I just found out is a GRAND OPENING. So definately pop by this one.
Tonight, however, you may want to stop into this one. This looks like a really fun event at deyermond art + books. This place is part owned by one of the former owner of Equator Books, which was on Abbot Kinney and yes we all miss the fun parties there. So let’s continue them right down the street on Main Street.
Do you like Drinking? Do you like Scrabble? Good, because we have combined the two. Join us this Thursday, January 13th for our inaugural Scrabble Night and enjoy complementary libations and good cheer! Scrabble winner will receive a gift certificate, so please come out and exercise your pleonastic tendencies. 8:00-11:00 PM
