Lots of updates….Before we get on with the week, I recently had the chance to see a brilliant exhibit curated by political artist Sophia Gasparian at Avenue 50 Studio in Highland Park. There are ton’s of Halloween events….. but before we get to my pick of the week which is a Halloween art event at G2 which starts in the evening, there are a couple of daytime events happening.
Now some may have headed off to Johsua Tree for the second weekend for the Hwy62 Art Tours. Stop into Joshua Tree Art Gallery (JTAG), who will be having am artist reception for Tour De Force and to celebrate HWY 62 Art Tours in conjunction with the Morongo Basin Cultral Arts Council. JTAG’s exhibition, Tour De Force will feature artists, David Burnham, Kim Chasen, Karen Florek, Frederick Fulmer, Marcia Geiger, James O'Keefe, Naomi Parker, Drew Reese, Steve Rieman, Suzanne Ross and Tobi Taboada.

LACMA offers a Free Storytelling Performance: Pumpkin Bones, Picnic Stones, and Hallow's Eve Tales….Design and create props, costumes, and instruments for a participatory storytelling performance where everyone has a role!
